Fixation disparity

We advise testing children from age 8, especially if dyslexia is suspected, for Fixation Disparity. Does your child need glasses? We have the complete Junior & Junior children's collection in stock, as well as the unbreakable glasses from Gloryfy.
Approximately 80% of all information we process involves vision. Good coordination between both eyes is essential for stable, single vision.
When this coordination does not work optimally, we speak of Fixation Disparity. This can, among other things, be related to hidden hyperopia or excessive effort to see clearly up close.
Possible complaints are:
• Headaches or concentration problems
• Fatigue when reading
• Sensitivity to light and sound
• Postural complaints such as neck and back pain
